South of the island of Luzon, north of Mindanao and east of Palawan is the main island group of the Philippines, the Visayas. Countless little islands surround the tropical archipel.  Panay a large triangular island, is the heart of the Visayan Islands, is subdivided into the provinces of Ilo-Ilo, Capiz, Aklan and Antique and has now over 4 million inhabitants.
